Korean Navy Convoy Details

1. GENERAL INFORMATION:

Rendezvous positions:

• Starting Point “KA1”, Eastbound: 11-55N, 044-38E
• Starting Point “KB”, Westbound: 14-54N, 054-40E

Be advised that these points are provided by the Korean Navy, and may not correspond in latitude and longitude, and either the naming convention of IRTC.

Application Deadline: At least 1 day prior (04:00 UTC) to the convoy escort.

Delayed applications for joining a convoy will be accepted (less than 15 hours).

Minimum Convoy Speed: 12 knots

IMPORTANT:  

All merchant vessels wishing to join the convoy group must submit their application forms directly to the ROK Naval Warship carrying out the mission.  

All merchant vessels should make confirmation calls to ROKS MunMu The Great after submitting the convoy application forms.
